About Us

Red Wing Aviation is a leading source of aircraft parts and supplies. Our mission is to keep our customers’ fleets in the air. RWA supplies parts for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, both commercial and military.

We have supplied everything from critical engine components and APU’s, to avionics, nuts and bolts, adhesives and sealants, tooling parts, to ground service equipment. With over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, we strive to provide excellent service and the highest quality of parts and supplies to our customer base around the globe.

Our Team

RWA was founded in 2015 by our president and owner Mike Hosfield, who has over 15 years of experience in the aircraft parts industry. At RWA, the customer is always right. Mike works tirelessly to ensure our customers receive great service. We want our clients to be able to depend on us for timely deliveries of high-quality parts and supplies. Our extensive network of reliable suppliers, OEMs, and FAA certified repair stations, allows us to quote competitive prices while providing everything our customers need to keep their aircrafts in the air.
Mike takes great pride in our return rate, which is less than .1%. Over 95% of the parts we supply are in new condition with manufacturer’s certification, or overhauled condition with fresh or recent tags, only from FAA and/or EASA certified repair stations. Mr. Hosfield also strives to maintain a strong reputation with our suppliers, who fully trust us to always comply with our financial commitments.

Red Wing Aviation is proud to be certified by Transonic Aviation to operate under the TAC-2000 Quality Assurance Standard and Advisory Circular 00-56B, which has been approved by the FAA since 1999.
Safety is priority #1 in the aviation industry. We have never sold an incident-related part. Nearly all the parts we supply are brand new from the manufacturer, or overhauled with a current 8130, EASA Form 1, or dual release 8130, from an FAA/EASA licensed repair station, with a 1-year warranty. There is no room for error in our industry, and we stand by every part we supply. We know how costly it can be to have an aircraft grounded, waiting for a critical part.
